Biking in Cape Cod

Bradley and Eric: As Webelos, before we joined Boy Scouts, we went on a campout with Troop 63.
I loved talking with all my friends before we went into the cars and drove to Cape Cod. I rode on my bike for 24 straight miles.

I will always remember savoring the flavor of the beef we cooked. The whole point of inviting the Webelos II was so that they know what it is like in Boy Scouts.

Andrew: My most memorable outing was the Cape Cod Bike Trip. It was a phenomenal experience to exercise and see incredible sights that I have never seen before.
We biked about 25 miles in hot weather. On the way back from lunch a nice, cool snow cone hit the spot in my stomach as it propelled me to ride back to the campsite. I learned you should always hydrate even when it is cold and dark out.

We had passed a cranberry bog, a lumber company, and a beautiful private beach. The trip started off in wet, damp weather. It ended up in a warm sunny sensation. On a big steep bridge you would really drain your energy, but as you’re speeding down the other end you feel like you’re flying. On some of the road trees were arched over so it feels like the trees are praising you. On the tunnels your voice would really echo

Too bad you weren’t there: Don’t you wish you were a Boy Scout?
