Starting off the bike trip, we drove for several hours until we got to the bike shop. We got fitted for bikes and got our stuff. We started the bike trip, and did the first leg, stopping at a candy store. We then started biking again, and got to the halfway point where we had lunch. Some of us then did an extra three miles so our whole trip would be 25 miles, which would count towards a merit badge. We then returned back, stopping at the same candy store and our patrol purchased donuts. After that we went back to the bike shop. We drove from there to a nearby camping site. We set up our tents and the troop did a game of “Capture the Flag.” Our patrol then started making dinner. We had fruit kabobs for dinner and had lava pie for dessert. Lava pie is cupcake shells with whipped cream and oreo bits, and it’s really good. The troop came around the campfire and everyone did campfire skits. After that we went to sleep. We woke up in the morning and as the troop started packing up material it started to rain. Our patrol made its breakfast which was an omelette. After breakfast we finished packing up and drove home.
